Objectives of the project:

  • Explore the Future of Workforce Development: The project aims to investigate key factors influencing the future development of the human workforce, particularly in the context of technological advancements such as automation, AI, and robotics, which are reshaping industries and creating new job opportunities.
  • Address Changing Skills and Competencies: To meet the demands of an evolving labour market, the project focuses on the importance of enhancing skills, competencies, and capacities among workers, ensuring they are prepared for new and emerging roles.
  • Promote Workplace Well-being and Dynamic Reshaping: The project emphasizes the need to prioritize workforce well-being and reshape workplace dynamics, particularly in the face of labour shortages and the changing nature of employment.
  • Foster Democratic Participation in Policy-Making: By engaging a diverse range of stakeholders—employees, employers, HR experts, organizational leaders, policymakers, youth, NGOs, and other relevant experts—the project encourages democratic participation in discussions about workforce development and policy-making processes.
  • Strengthen Awareness of EU Labour Rights and Policies: The project aims to increase participants’ understanding of their rights and knowledge of EU policies by facilitating discussions on labour market challenges and sharing best practices across Europe.
  • Contribute to the Global Competitiveness of EU Countries: The project seeks to support the transformation of the labour market, contributing to the global competitiveness of EU countries by addressing critical workforce issues and facilitating the co-creation of solutions for Europe’s future.

  • Work Package 1: Forge Ahead: The “Future of Human Workforce” Kick-off Summit for Our Citizen-centric Voyage
  • Work Package 2: Collaborative workshop on the Current and Future workforce priorities
  • Work Package 3: Blueprint of Tomorrow: Introducing the Future of Human Workforce Survey
  • Work Package 4: Focus group discussions with employers, HR, employees, NGO’s, trade unions, ministries, and youth and other relevant experts from the labour market
  • Work Package 5: International Interdisciplinary Conference about the Future of Human Workforce
  • Work Package 6: Interdisciplinary Expert Roundtable Symposium in Collaboration with Project Partners
  • Work Package 7: Workforce 2050 Preparatory Summit: Design the Blueprint
  • Work Package 8: Participatory Design Thinking Workshop for Workforce Scenario Development with employers, HR, employees, NGO’s, trade unions, ministries, and youth and other relevant experts from the labour market
  • Work Package 9: Ethical Consideration Panel Discussion of the Future Workforce Challenges
  • Work Package 10: Policy Hackathon: Shaping the Future of the Human Workforce
  • Work Package 11: Panel discussion “The meaning of Work and the importance of ensuring Equality: Bridging Contemporary Views with Future Vision”
